Sabach Shoham

Dr. Shoham Sabach is an applied mathematician renowned for his contributions to the theoretical analysis and advancement of computationally efficient optimization algorithms. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Data and Decision Sciences at the Technion, he joined the institute in 2014. Dr. Sabach earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Technion in 2012. Notably, he has been an invited speaker at various international conferences and has received awards such as the Cooper Award for Excellence in Research (Technion, 2018). His achievements include the SIAM prize for the most outstanding paper on optimization published between 2013 and 2017. His extensive expertise extends beyond academia, encompassing a scientist at AWS and consulting positions.
