ميتنيك ليونايد

Prof. Leonid Mytnik joined the Faculty in 1999. He received his Ph.D from the Technion in 1996. He held postdoctoral positions at the Department of Mathematics of The University of British Columbia, Canada (1996-1998), and then at the Laboratoire de Probabilites, University of Paris VI (1998-1999).

Prof. Mytnik has been doing research in various branches of the theory of Stochastic Processes. His main contribution over the past several years has been in the area of measure-valued processes or superprocesses.

Prtof. Mytnik was elected as a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS) in 2013. He is a winner of Humboldt Research Award in 2016.
