Prof. Emeritus Shlomo Maital joined the Faculty in 1980 He received his PhD from Princeton University in 1967. Prior to joining the Faculty, Prof. Maital was a member of the Economics Department at Tel Aviv University. (1967-1979).

Prof. Maital is Senior Research Fellow at the Samuel Neaman Institute for Advanced Studies. He was the academic director of TIM–Technion Institute of Management and a visiting professor for 20 years at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

His current research focuses on SNI Wheel of Life (visual quantification of the quality of life in Israel); a method for fostering creative thinking.
